PONTOZÓ 

WEEKEND

The Kodály Ensemble of Toronto is pleased to announce the fifth annual North American Pontozó Dance Competition is set for April 3-5, 2020.

     This year the Pontozó festival will begin on Friday with a Székelyföld Themed Show featuring our guest Jury Members, Teachers, Musicians and more, followed by a táncház for the rest of the evening.

     The competition will take place Saturday, followed by a Gala Show of the winners and a Székelyföld  themed Ball.

     Péter Ertl, Pál Mlinár, Kata Mlinár-Kőrösi will serve as Jury during the competition. 

    Sunday will feature an advanced dance workshop (13 and up)  lead by Pali and Kata, and Children's workshop (6 to 12) lead by Péter Ertl and Andrea “Hugi” Dobi.

Please register for our Pontozo Weekend by filling in the appropriate registration form(s). Below you will find all the events pertaining to you. If you register for the Weekend Package you do not need to register for each event separately.
